WWE legend to help The Miz escape the clutches of Wyatt Sicks and re-form the alliance? Potential reunion explored

WWE Superstar The Miz is once again trying to switch tracks. He is now trying to distance himself from the ongoing feud between The Final Testament and the Wyatt Sicks. However, Karrion Kross isn't letting the former WWE Champion do this. And now, the A-lister might ask for help from a former friend he betrayed recently.

The legend in question is R-Truth. The former tag team partner of The Miz is perhaps the only person who can save The A-Lister from the wrath of the Wyatt Sicks and The Final Testament. R-Truth and The Miz united earlier this year. At WrestleMania 40, Awesome Truth won the RAW Tag Team Championship in a Six-Pack Ladder Match.

They eventually dropped the gold to The Judgment Day (Finn Balor and JD McDonagh) on the June 24 edition of RAW. Later, under the influence of Karrion Kross, The Awesome One turned on R-Truth during a tag team match against The Authors of Pain on the September 30 edition of RAW, establishing his heel turn.

However, the betrayal came at a cost, as The Miz became a target of the Wyatt Sicks. The mystic group wanted to teach the former Intercontinental Champion a lesson for betraying R-Truth under the influence of The Final Testament leader. Uncle Howdy and Co. later abducted The A-Lister. He was later released under the condition that he would part ways with The Final Testament.

But The Miz, true to his character, betrayed the Wyatt Sicks when he attacked Erick Rowan with a chair from behind on RAW last month. After Kross and his stablemates dragged the former world champion to the ring, Wyatt Sicks appeared to save The Miz from the heels. However, The Awesome One turned on the eerie faction, attacking Erick Rowan with a steel chair. Now, The Miz is trying to move away from this faction warfare.

However, Karrion Kross isn't letting him go out so easily. The former WWE Champion might seek help from R-Truth in the coming weeks, and the two could reunite as Awesome Truth. However, this is speculative at this point.

The Miz is set to face a Wyatt Sicks member on next week's WWE RAW

This past Monday on WWE RAW, The A-lister was informed by Karrion Kross in a backstage segment that the 44-year-old would lock horns with Dexter Lumis of the Wyatt Sicks next week on the flagship show.

The segment started with The Miz attempting to break away from the clutches of the heel faction, explaining to Paul Ellering and The Authors of Pain how they didn't need his services. He was interrupted by The Final Testament leader, who made it clear that The Awesome One was going nowhere.

It will be interesting to see how the former WWE Champion fares against Lumis next week.
