WWE legend to make his return as heel after 4 years and help his son dethrone Cody Rhodes? Potential scenario analyzed
Cody Rhodes hasn't lost a single Undisputed WWE Championship match against any of his opponents since WrestleMania 40. However, the scenario might change soon, as a WWE legend has said that his son might be the one who could dethrone Cody Rhodes.
The legend in question is Rikishi. He recently talked about how his son, Solo Sikoa, the self-proclaimed Tribal Chief, might be the one who would finally take down Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship.
While speaking at Off The Top podcast, Rikishi heaped praise on Solo for pinning Roman Reigns in the six-man tag-team match at the Crown Jewel. He said that pinning the former WWE Champion does indicate that Solo might be the man to dethrone Cody Rhodes.
“Like I mentioned [on] the last podcast we had, Solo’s a made man. For that to happen, there’s definitely, we see plans within this kid [of] what can be the next level for him. We talked about, does he need a belt? Well, after this [pin] on Roman, I can see maybe Solo being the one to take it off of Cody. I talked about maybe Roman will come back and take it off of Cody. But after seeing that, you beat the GOAT. I believe it was two or three spikes, but now, it’s like okay, you beat the GOAT, now you’re considered the GOAT. The GOAT-slayer. So who knows?" Rikishi said. [H/T: Fightful Select]
Rikishi could make his return as a heel, to help his son win against Cody Rhodes. This might set up a Roman Reigns vs Solo Sikoa bout at WrestleMania 41, where the WWE Championship would be on the line along with the Ula Fala. Rikishi on Solo's side in this storyline would further add to the excitement.
The last time the Hall of Famer was seen in WWE was at Survivor Series in 2020, for The Undertaker's retirement ceremony. The 59-year-old legend can now return as a heel.
Moreover, there have also been tasks of Rikishi returning as Wiseman of Solo's faction, as Paul Heyman isn't there. Solo's Bloodline 2.0 is expected to take on Roman Reigns' OG Bloodline at the upcoming Survivor Series: WarGames PLE.
Before that, we might well see Rikishi returning and taking charge of Bloodline 2.0 and leading his son against OG Bloodline.
Solo Sikoa reaches out to Seth Rollins on WWE RAW to add him to Bloodline 2.0
Seth Rollins had another fierce face-off with Bronson Reed on RAW and is slated to take on the former NXT Champion in a match on RAW next week. However, after that segment, Solo Sikoa reached out to Seth Rollins to rope him in as the fifth man of his team.
Not just Solo, even Sami Zayn from Roman Reigns' camp, requested Seth Rollins to be part of their team. However, the former World Heavyweight Champion rejected both of the sides.
As the Survivor Series: WarGames is drawing close, both teams are looking to get the fifth man in their team. It remains to be seen whether Seth Rollins would like to be a part of this Bloodline war or not.
