Cody Rhodes may have gotten into trouble after he teamed up with Roman Reigns at WWE Bad Blood as The Rock returned and gave both of them a death stare. However, The Grandson of a Plumber could use the help of a former rival to take care of business.
At WWE Bad Blood, the unlikely duo of Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns stood tall against The Bloodline's Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. After The Tribal Chief respectfully handed over the Undisputed WWE Championship to Rhodes, The Rock made a surprise return to confront the two along with Jimmy Uso. A fan-recorded clip featured Sikoa saying "It's all part of the plan," seemingly hinting he works under Rock's guidance. While Cody will seemingly receive help from Roman, he may need more backup to fend off The Bloodline. At such a time, Brock Lesnar could be the perfect man for the job.
Lesnar hasn't been on WWE television since he lost to The American Nightmare on August 5, 2023, at SummerSlam 2023. While he hasn't been able to return due to his name being involved in controversial allegations surrounding Vince McMahon, he has been added back to the main roster page on the company's official website. This could mean he can return sometime soon.
Considering The Beast embraced Cody Rhodes after their match, he could return to save his former rival from The People's Champion. While this seems interesting, nothing is confirmed; it is just speculation for now.

The Prizefighter was visibly frustrated when he received an Undisputed WWE Championship opportunity at WWE Bash in Berlin. His frustrations rose to another level when Cody Rhodes decided to team up with Roman Reigns, against whom Kevin Owens had been fighting for years.
Considering that the former Universal Champion's actions will create another storyline, The American Nightmare will have more enemies than allies. WWE SmackDown will be full of surprises.
