WWE legend to return and immediately dethrone Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 41? Exploring the possibility after Mami eradicates Liv Morgan

Rhea Ripley has been on a roll since returning to the Stamford-based company and could defeat Liv Morgan soon to become the new Women's World Champion. Once that has ensued, a WWE legend could return for vengeance to build a dream match.

At WWE Bash in Berlin, Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest defeated Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio in mixed tag team action, where Mami scored a pinfall on her long-time rival. Thanks to this outcome the 27-year-old will likely challenge Morgan at Bad Blood and could become the new champion with some aid from Priest and Jey Uso. If that happens, a legendary name could return to potentially dethrone her on The Grandest Stage of Them All.

Beth Phoenix has stayed in phenomenal shape even years after her retirement. Fans may remember she suffered the infamous Con-Chair-To at the hands of Ripley at Extreme Rules 2022 when The Judgment Day was in a heated feud with Edge. The storyline concluded at WrestleMania 39 but Phoenix never came back for revenge.

Considering that The Show of Shows would be the perfect stage to book a dream match, especially considering there is an incomplete huge storyline, this scenario is realistically possible. However, this is just speculation, and nothing is confirmed right now. Although, the probability of it happening will increase if the Women's World Championship changes hands before WrestleMania 41.

What did Rhea Ripley's rival Beth Phoenix say about a potential return to the ring?

While Beth Phoenix has stayed out of action for years, she had interesting thoughts when asked about a potential return to the ring. She discussed the topic during an interview with Chris Van Vliet.

When asked about the possibility of a comeback, she said she would never say never. If the opportunity was right and it suited her family schedule, she could return to the squared circle.

"I give the age-old cliche answer that everybody hates, 'never say never.' But it really just depends on the opportunities and what suits our family, that's really it," said Phoenix.

Given that the WWE legend is willing to return under the right circumstances, fans may just get to see Rhea Ripley take on her dream opponent someday.
