WWE Live Event Results: Bologna (May 4th, 2017)

WWE was live from Bologna, Italy

RAW was live in Bologna, Italy for a house show. This was the second live event on the European tour and was also the second of the tour in Italy. The event featured some of Monday Night RAW’s top superstars, like Finn Balor, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns.

The matchups were incredibly exciting and included matches for the RAW Tag team titles and The Intercontinental title. The event was kicked off with a fatal four-way Tag team match between the Hardy Boyz’, Enzo & Cass, Anderson & Gallows and Sheamus & Cesaro. Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman – who are both injured according to storyline – returned and worked an unofficial tables match.

The main event was once again a tag team match between Seth Rollins & Finn Balor and Samoa Joe & Bray Wyatt. The matchups for the live event in Bologna was really just a replay of the live event that took place in Rome, Italy.

#1 The Hardy Boyz’, Enzo & Cass, Anderson & Gallows and Sheamus & Cesaro in a Fatal four-way Tag team championship match

The Hardy Boyz’ retain the title

The match saw the Hardy Boyz attempt to defend their RAW Tag team titles against the likes of Enzo & Cass, Anderso & Gallows and Sheamus & Cesaro. The crowd was going wild with chants of “Delete!” filling the venue. The match was over when Jeff Hardy pinned Karl Anderson after connecting with a ‘Swanton’.

Results: The Hardy Boyz’ retained over Enzo & Cass, Anderson & Gallows and Sheamus & Cesaro.

#2 Neville vs. Austin Aries

Neville vs. Austin Aries

This matchup saw the ‘King of the Cruiserweights’ defend his title against Austin Aries. Neville won the match via submission after he put Aries in the ‘Rings of Saturn’. It was reported to be a slow match but a good one nonetheless.

Results: Neville retained over Austin Aries.

#3: Rhyno & Heath Slater and Golden Truth vs. Curtis Axel, Bo Dallas, Curt Hawkins and Titus O’Neil

Golden Truth are ready

The match saw potential #1 Contenders for the RAW Tag team titles Golden Truth teaming up with Rhyno & Heath Slater facing off against Curtis Axel, Curt Hawkins, Bo Dallas and Titus O’Neil. The match was nothing special apart from some light comedy here and there. Rhyno hit Bo Dallas with a ‘Gore’ to win.

Results: Golden Truth and Rhyno & Heath Slater defeated. Curtis Axel, Bo Dallas, Curt Hawkins and Titus O’Neil.

#4 Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman in a Tables Match

The match wasn’t officially announced as a Tables match. However, this became clear when the match ended after Roman Reigns speared Strowman into a table. Both men seemed severely injured throughout the match. It started with Strowman demanding a match and fans answering his calls with chants of ‘‘Thank you!’’

Results: Roman Reigns defeated Braun Strowman.
