WWE Live Event Results: Cape Girardeau, Missouri (04/16/17)
The landscape of the WWE has changed after the Superstar Shake-up. However, it looks like the house show rosters are as they were before the draft.
The SmackDown LIVE crew took over the Show Me Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, on April 16, 2017. Several Superstars such as Dean Ambrose, Bray Wyatt, Heath Slater and Rhyno, who were traded to Raw, had matches at the event.
So without any further ado, here are the results from the WWE Live Event in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
#1 Heath Slater and Rhyno vs. Breezango
The inaugural SmackDown Tag Team Champions, who are now part of Raw, defeated The Fashion Police to start the show. The Audience showered Slater with chants of, “He’s got kids”.

Result: Heath Slater and Rhyno defeated Breezango
#2 Apollo Crews vs. Curt Hawkins
Curt Hawkins grabbed a microphone and said that he was the biggest star on the Raw Roster. He then issued an open challenge to the locker room. Apollo Crews, who was also traded to the flagship show, came out and squashed the former WWE Tag Team Champion in less than a minute.
Result: Apollo Crews defeated Curt Hawkins
#3 Mojo Rawley vs. Dolph Ziggler
Although he played the heel, the crowd was firmly behind Dolph Ziggler. However, Mojo Rawley’s unrelenting push continued as he defeated the Showoff in convincing fashion.

Result: Mojo Rawley defeated Dolph Ziggler
#4 Luke Harper vs. Eric Rowan
Luke Harper received one of the loudest reactions of the night. The Backwoods Brawler defeated his former comrade in one of the evening’s best matches.

Result: Luke Harper defeated Eric Rowan
#5 Dean Ambrose (C) vs. Baron Corbin- Intercontinental Championship
As usual, Dean Ambrose was one of the most popular Superstars on the show. The Lunatic Fringe dispatched his challenger, Baron Corbin, with a Dirty Deeds to retain the title. The Intercontinental Champion also stayed behind to sign autographs.
