WWE Live Event Results - Colorado Springs, CO 16th October, 2016
The next round of live events saw the superstars of RAW stop over at Colorado Springs. The top names for the red brand put on a show to remember for the fans that included some high-quality title matches, a host of feel-good moments and most importantly, a vocal crowd.
Below are the results from the event that took place on Sunday, courtesy of Scott Eddins:
1. Goldust, R-Truth and Darren Young vs. Bo Dallas, Curtis Axel and Titus O'Neil
The show kicked off with a lower mid-card tag team match featuring Golden Truth team up with the former member of the Prime Time Players, Darren Young. The faces easily dispatched the team of Bo Dallas, Curtis Axel, and Titus O’Neil.
Result: Golden Truth and Darren Young def. Bo Dallas, Curtis Axel and Titus O’Neil.
2. Neville vs. Jinder Mahal
The Man That Gravity Forgot took on the Promoter of Peace in singles competition. Mahal wasn’t a match to Neville’s in-ring prowess and ended up on the losing side. A distraught Jinder took to the mic after the bout and demanded stiffer competition and guess who answered his call? The Underdog from the Underground, Sami Zayn! An impromptu match between the two was booked

3. Sami Zayn vs. Jinder Mahal
As if the loss to Neville wasn’t enough, Sami Zayn squashed past Jinder with a Helluva Kick. Zayn got one of the best pops of the night and the fans were quite happy to see the lovable star in action in a short match. As a matter of fact, some of them wanted more of the former NXT Champion:

4. The New Day vs. Enzo & Cass vs. Cesaro & Sheamus vs. Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows (WWE RAW Tag Team Championship Match)
Arguably the best match of the night saw the top teams of RAW battle it out for the RAW Tag Team Titles. The New Day retained the belts against stiff competition in a match that was reported to have everything – solid in-ring action and sequences, a nail-biting finish and the overall entertainment.
Result: The New Day def. Enzo & Cass, Cesaro & Sheamus and The Club to retain the WWe RAW Tag Team Titles.
5. Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks (WWE RAW Women’s Championship match)
The uberly talented duo got the crowd to their feet with a classic title match, something that isn’t much of a surprise. Both Charlotte and Sasha garnered great reactions from the crowd and didn’t leave them disappointed by putting on a firecracker of a match.
Result: Sasha Banks def. Charlotte to retain the WWE RAW Women’s Championship
