WWE Live Event Results: Kalamazoo, MI (April 22nd, 2017)
WWE Live laid the SmackDown last night (April 22nd) in Kalamazoo, Michigan for a live house show of the blue brand. The Superstar shakeup which took place a few weeks ago has had no effect on the house shows yet, so as expected, the brands will remain the same as they were for a while longer.
The main event saw Randy Orton defend his WWE World Title against previous holders Bray Wyatt and AJ Styles. Furthermore, Mojo Rawley faced Dolph Ziggler and the Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose defended his title against the ‘Lone Wolf’ Baron Corbin.
However, the SmackDown Live Tag Team Champions the Usos and the SmackDown Live Women’s Champion Naomi were absent from the live event, owing to Rosey’s death.

This matchup saw Alexa Bliss enter the ring as the special guest referee, an addition that former SmackDown women's champ Becky Lynch found rather unamusing. Alexa Bliss recently completed a move to the Raw brand but returned to the blue brand for the live event.
