WWE Live Event Results - Laramie,WY 17th October, 2016
The next round of SmackDown live events took us to Laramie, Wyoming. There were a number of great matches on the card – headlined by a bout between AJ Styles and Dean Ambrose. The Superstars from the blue brand put on a great show which was greatly appreciated by the vocal live crowd of around a 1000 fans. Given that Laramie has a population of only 30,000, that’s a decent number.
Below are the results from the event:
Dolph Ziggler vs Tyler Breeze (for the WWE Intercontinental Championship)
Ziggler and Breeze put on the good show. After floundering on the main roster, Tyler Breeze has finally started to show what he’s capable of. After a back and forth match, Ziggler won with the Zig Zag to retain his newly won title.

Hype Bros and Heath Slater vs The Vaudevillains and Konnor
The University of Wyoming mascot, Pistol Pete, accompanied the Hype Bros to the ring which was probably the most memorable thing from this match. We got a standard six-man tag with Slater and the Hype Bros taking the win. Heath Slater was super-over once again.

Apollo Crews vs Curt Hawkins (followed by Kane vs Curt Hawkins)
This match was a fast-paced and relatively quick affair with Apollo Crews impressing and pulling off the win after about 3 minutes.

Hawkins was aghast and refused to leave the ring till another opponent was given to him. To his horror, out came Kane. Hawkins made the huge mistake of talking trash to Kane on his face before the bell rang. Kane immediately chokeslammed Hawkins for the win.

Jack Swagger vs Baron Corbin
Jack Swagger and Baron Corbin faced off again in Laramie. The match was as dull their recent encounters with Corbin picking up the win with a roll-up.

Bray Wyatt vs Randy Orton
Another match in the Wyatt-Orton saga took place in Laramie with Orton coming out to one of the biggest pops of the night. This was a good match with good psychology with Orton managing to pull off the win with an RKO out of nowhere.
