WWE main roster facing big problems?, star to return for RAW?, NXT
- The year 2015 has seen the rise of NXT as a brand of its own rather than being known as a developmental zone for WWE’s rookies. This has boosted the morale of the NXT talents, who are at their peak of their game and are enjoying every bit of it.
The same does not apply when it comes to the main roster stars it seems, as according to reports, there seems to be a huge divide among the stars in the main roster, namely between 'the haves and the have-nots'.
The problem seems to be related to the remuneration of the stars in question, as the stars who belong in the lower rung of the pecking order are not quite happy with the way they are paid.
This comes after a raise for the lowest level of main roster stars from $100,000 downsides to $125,000 per year because of the lack of pay-per-view bonuses due to the WWE Network. The lower card stars, though, are finding it tough to get through with the said amount, as on-road expenses are taking a toll on their finances.
That isn't the case when it comes to top stars, as WWE makes sure the top talents don’t suffer a problem and are very well taken care of. Such double standards on WWE’s part would only create an unsettling atmosphere in the locker room. It may also lead to the so-called ‘have-nots’ to reach their boiling point and walk out of the company.
- WWE Tag team Champions have been missing their trombone playing Xavier Woods since Hell in a Cell as he tied the knot this past weekend. Woods was absent at HIAC, the fallout RAW and also from last night’s Smackdown tapings in Pheonix.
Woods is likely to be on next week’s RAW in Denver as he has all but through with his commitments regarding his marriage. New Day without Woods isn’t the same as he adds that freshness due to his excellent trombone playing, in-ring and mic skills.
