What’s next?

The vast majority of professional wrestling industry insiders believe that The Undertaker is may make his in-ring return for a feud with John Cena that culminates at WrestleMania 34. If it is really so, the WWE Universe can expect the Cena-Undertaker feud to commence after the Elimination Chamber PPV which takes place at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada on 25 February.

Author’s take

Given how MMA has its competitors usually refrain from doling out flashy moves, and pro-wrestling, on the other hand, prides itself on over-the-top manoeuvres, Taito Kubota deserves a ton of credit for pulling off this highly-risky move. Perhaps this odd happening in the world of MMA could indeed be an ominous sign of the Deadman making his way back into the limelight.
