WWE Monday Night Raw live results

Hello Ladies and Gentleman and welcome to our live coverage of Monday Night Raw. We head towards the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan and tonight begins the road to the next big pay-per-view Royal Rumble.

As announced on TLC last night, John Cena will be facing Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight title at Royal Rumble and it’s a storyline which we can definitely look forward to starting from tonight itself.

Hello ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to the live coverage of Monday Night RAW.

Segment with Chris Jericho

 

6:30 AM: This week’s episode kicked off with Chris Jericho coming out, as RAW got “Jericho’d”. But before Jericho could say much, he was interrupted by Paul Heyman. Heyman talked about being the father of “extreme”, but Jericho mocked him, and said he owed him some money. 

6:40 AM: Heyman then talked about Rollins failing in his quest to take away the number one contender spot from Cena, as Rollins made his way out. Rollins got up in Heyman’s face, as Heyman said he was not a sports entertainer.

6:45 AM: Rollins then cut a promo about WWE being unjust, and talked about first Sting costing him the match at SS, and then Roman costing him at TLC. He called Cena a coward, and then challenged Cena to a rematch.

6:47 AM: Cena made his way out, and said Rollins didn’t have a set of testicles. He asked Rollins to man up, and talked about his match with Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble.

 

6:50 AM: Cena then asked Rollins to fight him later on the show. Cena then asked Jericho to make the match official, and Jericho said it will take place inside a steel cage! 

 

6:51 AM: Seth threw a fit, and said he couldn’t even beat Heyman. And Jericho then pondered about him beating Heyman, and laid out another match between himself and Paul Heyman! He then asked the WWE Universe to choose the type of match they will be involved in! 

Dolph Ziggler and Erick Rowan vs. Luke Harper and The Big Show

7:00 AM: Show and Ziggler started things off as Show got physical. The crowd started a big “Let’s go Ziggler” chant but Show worked over Dolph.

7:05 AM: Show and Harper worked over Ziggler as Rowan waited patiently in the corner.

7:10 AM: Rowan got the hot tag, but Harper stopped his momentum, and Show tagged him with the WMD and got the pin for his team.

Winners: Big Show and Luke Harper

Backstage, Fandango confronted Jericho, who put him down and said he would collect his Slammy from him once he beats Heyman later tonight.

The New Day cut a promo backstage, and they are set to take on Goldust and Stardust later on the show.

Nikki Bella and Brie Bella vs. Natalya and Alicia Fox

7:20 AM: Nikki started things off with Alicia, and worked on her before tagging in Brie.

7:24 AM: Natalya came in and threw Nikki off the apron, and then locked Brie in the Sharpshooter, as Brie tapped out.

Winners: Alicia Fox and Natalya

Rating: Dud

In – ring segment with Chris Jericho, Lana and Rusev

7:30 AM: Jericho joked around with Lana and Rusev, and implied that there was something going on between Rusev and Lana, and joked around with the duo.

7:35 AM: Rusev threatened Jericho, but Jericho said he knew someone who wanted to fight Rusev, as Ryback came out! Rusev and Lana had words with Ryback as they slowly left the ring.

WWE aired a promo for the debut of The Ascension.

The New Day vs. Goldust and Stardust

7:45 AM: Big E and Woods worked over Goldust as Kofi was on commentary.

7:48 AM: Big E worked on Stardust and connected with Snake Eyes, and tagged Xavier in, as the crowd chanted for Lawler and JBL.

7:55 AM: Big E and Xavier Woods picked up the victory with the Midnight Hour.

Winners: The New Day

Kane vs. Adam Rose

8:10 AM: Rose made his way out followed by Kane. Kane quickly went for the chokeslam, as Bunny tried to make the save.

8:12 AM: Kane chokeslammed Rose and Bunny at the same time to pick up the victory. Kane then tombstoned the Bunny.

Winner: Kane

Rating: Dud

 

8:20 AM: Time for Jericho vs. Paul Heyman, as Jericho made his way out. Heyman then came out and cut a promo about how he didn’t find this entertaining. He asked Jericho how he could fight him for 200 $ he owed him 20 years ago.

8:25 AM: Heyman asked Jericho why he’d want to do this with... Brock Lesnar!

 

8:30 AM: Jericho went to strike Lesnar, but Lesnar drilled him with the F - 5.

8:40 AM: Fandango made his way out with Rosa, but Roman Reigns interrupted him, and drilled him with the Superman punch, and took him down with a spear! 

8:42 AM: Roman warned Show, but Show made his way down to the ring and Roman drilled him with the Superman punch. Show didn’t go down, but threw a fit near the ringside area.

8:46 AM: The Miz and Mizdow made their way out.

Jimmy Uso (With Jey) vs. The Miz (With Mizdow)

8:49 AM: Miz took on Jimmy as the crowd started a “We want Mizdow” chant.

8:55 AM: Miz tried to go for the figure four, but Jimmy came back with a Samoan drop.

8:59 AM: Jimmy picked up the victory with a Superfly splash.

Winner: Jimmy Uso

Backstage, Miz and Mizdow confronted Naomi. Miz offered her a spot on the MizTV on Smackdown!

9:05 AM: Seth Rollins was interviewed by Renee, and he had some harsh words for Jericho and John Cena.

9:10 AM: Cena and Rollins made their way out for the main event.

9:15 AM: Cena went after Rollins as Rollins tried to escape by climbing the cage.

9:20 AM: Rollins drilled Cena with a powerbomb in the corner as WWE went into the final commercial of the night.

9:25 AM: Cena threw Rollins into Joey, knocking him off the cage, and delivered an AA to Seth. Jamie made sure that Cena didn’t get out, and Cena threw him into the barricades! Cena then delivered a leg drop from the top rope on Rollins.

9:28 AM: Rollins turned things around with a big knee and then threw Cena into the cage. Cena managed to turn the tables, but Mercury threw cage door into Cena. Rollins connected with a big kick as Jamie threw the briefcase into the ring.

9:35 AM: Lesnar made his way out and drilled Cena with trifecta of German suplexes, and delivered the F – 5! 

9:40 AM: Seth drilled Cena with the Curb Stomp and got out of the cage to win the match.

Winner: Seth Rollins
