WWE Monday Night Raw results

 

Tonight’s WWE RAW opens up with a video of stills from John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Night of Champions. Raw live from the FedEx Forum in Memphis with Michael Cole, JBL and Jerry Lawler on commentary.

Dean Ambrose, John Cena & Authority segment

We go right to the ring and out comes Dean Ambrose to a big pop from the Memphis crowd.

Ambrose says he’s far from dead and WWE’s ugly stepchild is back. Ambrose says he’s been a little loopy in the head since we last saw him. He’s been replaying what happened with the cinder blocks a few weeks back on Raw when he faced Rollins. He shows us a replay of what happened last month with Kane and Seth Rollins. Ambrose is kind of flattered that The Authority would go to such great lengths to get rid of him. Ambrose says he’s not satisfied and can hold a grudge. He says tonight, he’s The Authority and he’s not leaving the ring until he gets his hands on Rollins. Ambrose throws a steel chair in the ring and takes a seat in the middle of the ring. Fans chant his name. John Cena’s music hits after a minute and out Cena comes to a mixed reaction.

Ambrose kicks the chair out of the ring. He’s bothered why Cena is here and doesn’t like that Cena is standing in front of him right now. Ambrose says Cena is flying close to a flame. Cena calls him Mr. Ambrose and says they have a similar agenda. Cena says he had Brock Lesnar in the STF at Night of Champions & he was about to tap until that slimy, rubber suit wearing jackass Seth Rollins showed up. Cena says he should be the WWE World Heavyweight Champion right now. Cena says he’s cashing in his ass kicking in a briefcase shot on Rollins tonight and no one can stop him. Ambrose says he warned Cena once, don’t get in his way. Cena takes off his gear and gets ready for a fight. The music hits and out comes Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, Kane, Randy Orton and Seth Rollins.


Triple H tells them to relax before they fight over something they have no control over. He says Rollins won’t be fighting anybody tonight & has the night off but Cena and Ambrose will. Cena interrupts and goes up the ramp for a fight. Ambrose follows. Ambrose and Cena brawl with Kane, Orton and Rollins on the ramp. Rollins runs off through the crowd and Ambrose chases him. Ambrose catches up, but Rollins runs off again. Cena also ran after Rollins. Kane and Orton look on from the ring while Triple H re-groups with Stephanie. Cameras go backstage and we see Ambrose attacking Rollins. Cena joins in and Rollins is doing his best to fight them off. He runs off and decks a guy loading stuff in his car. Rollins takes the car and speeds off. Ambrose was trying to get in the back of the car and fell. Cena and Ambrose look at each other as we go to commercial.

We come back from commercial and the Authority is shown backstage. Ambrose vs. Kane & Orton vs. Cena is announced for later tonight.

Some high flying stuff during Ziggler vs Miz match

WWE Intercontinental Title Match: Dolph Ziggler vs. The Miz

We go to the ring and out comes new WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz & Damien Mizdow. His stunt double has a replica belt. Dolph Ziggler is out next by himself.

Justin Roberts does formal ring introductions before the match. Back and forth to start the match. Ziggler takes control with a clothesline. Ziggler with a headlock after a 2 count. Miz turns it around with a headlock of his own. Dolph counts and hits Miz with a forearm. Miz drops Ziggler with a shoulder but shows off some. They counter each other but Miz hits a big knee to the gut. Miz with another headlock now. They get to their feet and Ziggler hits a big open hand slap to the chest. Miz dropkicks his leg out. Miz goes for the Figure Four but Ziggler kicks him into the ring post. Ziggler shoves Miz down. Ziggler hits a big clothesline and a splash in the corner. Miz blocks the neckbreaker and ends up on the apron. Miz with a knee to the gut and a neckbreaker from the apron to the floor. Ziggler is kicks out of a pin attempt. Miz hits the big clothesline in the corner. Miz goes to the top but jumps into a huge dropkick from Ziggler. Ziggler with clotheslines and more offense now to get fired up. Miz dodges the Fame-asser. Miz goes for the neckbreaker but it’s countered. Ziggler hits the big DDT for a 2 count. Miz goes for the Skull Crushing Finale but Ziggler blocks him. Miz blocks a kick but Ziggler blocks the Figure Four. Miz runs into an elbow. Ziggler comes off the second rope but Miz catches him in the Figure Four. Ziggler won’t tap but Miz gets a pin attempt out of it. Ziggler reaches for the bottom rope and finally breaks the hold. They end up on the floor and Sandow gets taken out. Miz brings it back in and nails the Skull Crushing Finale for a very close 2 count. More back and forth great action in the ring. Miz kicks out of the Fame-asser. More back and forth with Sandow getting involved & knocked out again. Ziggler gets the win with a roll up.

Winner and New WWE Intercontinental Champion: Dolph Ziggler

Bo Dallas vs. Jack Swagger

Bo Dallas is already in the ring. We see a replay of his match with Jack Swagger last week on SmackDown. They are tied at 1-1 now. Jack Swagger makes his way out next with Zeb Colter.

Swagger attacks and takes it to the corner. He backs off and they lock up. Bo turns it around in the corner and beats Swagger down. Bo with a big clothesline. Bo with kicks & then drops several knees and covers for a 2 count. Bo with more offense and another 2 count. Swagger turns it around and hits a Swagger Bomb in the corner to a big pop from the Memphis crowd. Bo counters a move and hits a swinging neckbreaker for another 2 count. They go on and Swagger applies the Patriot Lock & Bo taps out.

Winner: Jack Swagger

The announcers mention Eric The Actor of Howard Stern fame, who recently passed away. Back to commercial.

Summer Rae vs. Natalya

Summer Rae comes out accompanied by Layla and Natalya is out with Rosa Mendes. Summer cuts a promo before the match and says it’s hard being her. She says summer time is over for everyone else but it never stops for her and her girl Layla. Back and forth to start but Summer keeps Natalya grounded on the mat.

Natalya powers to her feet and goes to work. She jumps on the back of Summer’s neck and dropkicks her in the face. She looks hurt. Natalya with the big clothesline and knees in the corner. Layla distracts Natalya on the apron. Summer rolls her up for 2. Natalya turns it into a Sharpshooter while Rosa takes Layla off the apron. Summer taps out to the sharpshooter.

Winner: Natalya
