It was an ironic sort of night's worth of action as No Mercy came to a conclusion...where Champions you'd have bet would have lost survived and those that you'd have blindly picked to win ended up on the losing end.

Welcome to the unpredictable world of the WWE. If No Mercy is any indication to go by, Monday Night Raw promises to be a rollicking show as well.

And almost on cue, Roman Reigns - fresh off a career-defining victory over John Cena - will inaugurate the show with an appearance on Miz TV but given how combustible these segments eventually end up being, expect less talk and more action.

Speaking of which, Enzo Amore's nefarious actions may have won him the Cruiserweight Championship but will he be able to weather the storm of retribution that Neville will no doubt bring on Raw?

And coming off a stinging defeat to Brock Lesnar, Braun Strowman will be itching to get back to winning ways as well...the only question being at the expense of which unfortunate soul?

Combing through all these points and more, here is our preview of this week's episode of Monday Night Raw.

Is this it for John Cena?

Is this goodbye?
Is this goodbye?

The 16-time world Champion broke down when addressing his WWE future on Raw Talk following his defeat to Roman Reigns, admitting that he doesn't have much gas left in the tank.

He also alluded to a Batman-esque role in the WWE going forward, availing himself to the company whenever the Bat signal is thrown up.

But as it stands, it looks like this is it for John Cena.

And given his invaluable contribution to the company over the past decade, the least we can hope for is a segment to celebrate him on Raw.

Will the WWE carve out 20 minutes for that? Or have we seen the last of John Cena for the foreseeable future?
