One of the highly anticipated pay-per-views of the year, Money in the Bank is just 2 weeks away from this Sunday. Given that the event is not that far away, WWE has started building up and hyping the event.

Yes, after putting together a dream match between two stalwarts of the red brand in the likes of AJ Styles and Seth Rollins for the Universal Championship at Money in the Bank, WWE went on to officially announce the participants of the men and women's Money in the Bank ladder matches.

While the Internet had already been buzzing with all sorts of rumors regarding the Universal Championship match, the recent developments added fuel to fire and has left people coming up with different speculations and predictions for May 19.

Well, the likes of Baron Corbin, Ricochet, Braun Strowman, and Drew McIntyre were announced as Raw participants, while Andrade, Randy Orton, Finn Balor, and Mustafa Ali will compete as SmackDown's participants in the Men's Money in the Bank ladder match.

And yes, you guessed it right, in this article we are going to discuss 2 superstars who should win the men's MITB ladder match and 2 who should not.

#4 Should not: Randy Orton

Well, on the last episode of SmackDown live, WWE officially announced that The Apex Predator will compete in the men's Money in the Bank ladder match on May 19.

While it was all but expected given The Viper is not involved in any storyline currently, it would be a shocker if Orton wins the briefcase on May 19.

Yes, Randy Orton's journey has been quite on and off in the last 3-4 years. While he has received some major pushes, he has not gotten much to show for it. His recent stint has been a bit underwhelming, and as a matter of fact, he has not been able to break free lately.

On top of that, given the fact that WWE is keen on pushing younger talents through MITB, Orton winning the briefcase seems highly unlikely. However, what scares me is the affinity of WWE and Vince McMahon towards Randy Orton. I mean, WWE has awarded him with meaningless title runs and pushes in the past.

Well, Randy is short on momentum and WWE needs to build him through a legit feud/storyline (maybe against Finn Balor) and a win in the MITB ladder match would do more harm than good to both Orton and WWE.
