Money In The Bank 2015- 5 best moments from Cena vs Owens

Cena VS Owens Part 2

For the second PPV in a row, Kevin Owens and John Cena stole the show. It was so awesome that it not only got multiple ‘This Is Awesome’ chants, but the audience just couldn’t help but stand in awe at the classic that was in motion in front of them. This match overpowered every match that it followed and every match that followed it. The promo video to this one was another thing of beauty. It aptly focussed on both men and how much Owens is worth your time.

This match showcased how great these two are as workers in a wrestling match.

Here are the 5 Best Moments from Cena Vs Owens-

Mocking John Cena

You can’t see me

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Owens mock Cena. But it still hasn’t gotten old. This was the only way the hardcore fans can get to cheer for this move. This also led Cena finally getting that move on Owens, showing why the original is always much better.

All of this happened in the first few moments in the match. A shoulder tackle here and a shoulder tackle there were enough to make it clear that it’s time for Owens to give Cena a taste of his own medicine.

Owens’ Arsenal

Pop-up Powerbomb

This match will more or less be remembered for so many power moves, most of them being pulled off by Owens and sold really well by Cena. It included a German Suplex, Pop-up Powerbomb, Spinning powerbomb, facebuster, a Swanton, a moonsault, springboard Stunner, hurricanrana and sunset flip powerbomb were some of the most spectacular moves pulled off.

You don’t walk in expecting all these moves in one match and that too in a Cena match. It’s the ability of his opponent and Cena’s ability to work with it that made this match speacial.

Cena’s frustrations

Cena got increasingly frustrated

One of the most evocative moment from the video promo was Cena uttering that his time is not up. As we see him less and less in main events and as he gets an year older, one can feel that he has slowly but steadily passing the baton.

This match saw Cena being at his frustrated best which included him almost ramming into the referee questing the call. Owens did not power out of one but two AAs. Cena couldn’t believe it and the same goes for the audience.
