The expectations were sky-high for the Money in the Bank and WWE did not disappoint the fans. It was the first post-WrestleMania pay-per-view where we got some impressive matches.

A total of eleven matches were on the card, and the two Money in the Bank ladder matches were the primary attractions of the show. Bayley won the Women's Money in the Bank match, while the Men's Money in the Bank had a surprising winner. Brock Lesnar, who was not in the match, replaced Sami Zayn to win the briefcase.

Becky Lynch defended the RAW Women's Championship successfully but she failed to retain the SmackDown Women's Championship. Following the victory of Charlotte Flair, Bayley cashed in the Money in the Bank contract to win the most coveted women's prize of the blue brand. Rey Mysterio became a Grand Slam Champion after winning the United States Championship at the XL Center.

Kofi Kingston retained his WWE Championship successfully by pinning Kevin Owens. The Universal Championship match was the most anticipated match of the night and it did not let down the fans. Without a shadow of a doubt, it was the match of the night. Shane McMahon earned a second victory against The Miz in the Steel Cage Match. Moreover, Roman Reigns squashed Elias.

It was a great pay-per-view with some action-packed matches. Here we discuss three things WWE cleverly told us at Money in the Bank.

#3 It's the end of the feud between Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair

Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair locked horns at Money in the Bank where the latter was victorious. However, Charlotte's celebration was short lived as Bayley snatched the blue belt after cashing in the Money in the Bank briefcase.

The rivalry between Lynch and Charlotte has been spectacular in the last few months as the two women brought the best out of each other. The feud began at Summerslam last year where Lynch turned on Charlotte. The two Superstars fought at Hell in a Cell, Evolution and WrestleMania. A large of fans speculated that their match at Showcase of Immortals could end the rivalry but the company extended the feud till Money in the Bank.

Though the two women always offer stellar matches, it is tedious for a large number of fans. Since Lynch lost the blue belt, they might not face each other in a long period.
