Money in the Bank is just a day away, and anticipation for the event is surprisingly at an all-time low, as the rating crisis WWE is in right now has seriously damaged the product to a certain extent that has changed fans' perception.
However, Money in the Bank is a pay-per-view that is a special event for many WWE fans, and that won't change, but this is an event that will probably make or break WWE in the foreseeable future, as there is so much riding on the decisions WWE makes on this show.
One step in the right direction for WWE will be to turn one of their biggest stars into the best possible version of himself. You probably know who that superstar is by now, as this is a heel turn that isn't for shock value, but for the benefit of Raw. #4 Bland As A Babyface
The problem many people have with WWE's modern product is that it is truly hard to connect to the characters the WWE has created over the last few years. The reason might be in that last sentence, fans are fed up of wrestlers being presented as characters instead of the people themselves.
Now there is some criticism with this line of thinking, as the success of The Undertaker, Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock is proof that characters make a wrestler interesting. That is totally accurate, but many of you would have realised that those characters were extensions of those wrestlers.
The Rock is a charismatic individual, Stone Cold is the no-nonsense trash talker, and The Undertaker is the silent badass that lets his in-ring work do the talking. However, in WWE today we are not interested in the characters for one reason, and that because they don't feel natural.
In the case of Seth Rollins, the man was born to play a heel, as his face run has been a hit and miss, however, the in-ring work Rollins has displayed is far better than anything he has to say on the mic. Therefore, by having the former member of The Shield go heel, it will allow him to be presented more naturally, and that will benefit his title reign.
