WWE Money in the Bank: 3 matches the company could confirm this week

MITB 2019
MITB 2019

Money in the Bank is the next pay-per-view of WWE and is set to take place in one week. Things got interesting after the introduction of the Wild Card Rule last week, which was certainly a desperate attempt to improve the ratings.

Money in the Bank will take place at XL Center, Hartford, Connecticut. It will be the first pay-per-view after the Showcase of Immortals, and the anticipation will be sky-high. Money in the Bank ladder matches will be held, and are the primary attractions of the event. Given the women's Money in the Bank ladder match started in 2017, two ladder matches will occur this year as well.

Several matches are confirmed for the pay-per-view. The Universal Championship will be on the line when Seth Rollins faces AJ Style, while Kofi Kingston will defend the WWE World Title against Kevin Owens.

Becky Lynch will compete twice at XL Center, as The Man will fight Lacey Evans and Charlotte Flair on the same night. Roman Reigns is also set to lock horns with Elias.

The Miz and Shane McMahon will collide in a rematch of WrestleMania, which will take place in a Steel Cage, while Samoa Joe and Rey Mysterio will tussle for the US Title. It is the final week before Money in the Bank and some matches could be finalized.

Here we discuss three matches WWE might confirm this week.

#3 The Viking Raiders vs Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins

The Viking Raiders have been unstoppable since making their main roster debut a couple of weeks ago. They destroyed everything in their path, and they are likely to be the next challengers of the RAW Tag Team Champions. As a matter of fact, Erik and Ivar pinned the current champions last week.

Some notable Tag Teams became part of the red brand after the Show of Shows. While The Viking Raiders made their main roster debut after WrestleMania, The Usos and The Club swapped brands after the Superstar Shake-up. With The Usos involved in a feud with the Revival, they are not in the title picture.

The Viking Raiders are expected to face Hawkins and Ryder at Money in the Bank. The former NXT Tag Team Champions will be favorites to grab the twin belts at XL Center.
