WWE Money in the Bank: 3 possible reasons why Becky Lynch should lose the SmackDown Live Women's title
Becky Lynch created history at WrestleMania 35 when she became the first ever "Champ Champ", winning both the RAW women's championship and the SmackDown Live women's championship.
The aftermath of that feat has resulted in Becky having to switch brands on a weekly basis. She is the sole singles champion in the women's division and needs to be present on both brands.
At the Money in the Bank pay-per-view, Lynch will have two matches. She will defend the RAW women's title against Lacey Evans and the SmackDown Live women's title against Charlotte Flair. It would be a herculean task even for "The Man", and it will be fascinating to see what WWE has in store for her.
That being said, let us take a look at the 3 possible reasons why Becky Lynch should lose the SmackDown Live women's title.
#1 Move Becky permanently over to RAW
After the Superstar Shake-up, there is an improper balance between the women's division of both brands. SmackDown Live definitely got the rub of the green as they acquired Bayley, Kairi Sane, and Ember Moon, among others. Coupled with other established stars like Charlotte, Carmella, Asuka, etc., the blue brand has a stronger roster of the two.
The RAW women's division, on the other hand, is comparatively weaker. Lacey Evans and Naomi are the only notable additions to the red brand. The other women on RAW like Ruby Riott, Natalya, etc, have not been booked well at all.
Also, injuries, sabbaticals, and backstage shenanigans have resulted in a pretty depleted looking roster (please WWE, promote Shayna Baszler to Monday Night RAW already!).
WWE should move Becky Lynch to RAW permanently to give the division a much-needed lift. She can be the cornerstone around whom the division is built around. The only reason Lynch is on both brands is because of the titles she is holding. Taking the SmackDown Live title off her would mean she is a RAW only superstar.
