WWE: Most improved superstar of the week - Big Show

Big Show made his presence felt

Big Show has had many a good performances to offer over the build up till Battleground. But what seemed like a great buildup and great performances week after week by the Big Show was led by a weak Pay Per View with a weak ending. This week on Raw, Big Show and Stephanie Mcmahon had another intimidating exchange but this time Big Show did not do what she wanted him to do and he was fired by Stephanie McMahon in a way that was a rendition of her father’s much talked about baritone while firing people.

But it was not a segment that you forget the moment it gets over. It did not go long enough and it was intensified with the barrage of slaps that Stephanie unleashed on Show. And then when he was fired, he left with his head held high and as we were informed later on, he was escorted out of the arena by security. But. There is always a but!

But he returned faster than a fired or an injured Cena returned. He returned during the main event and redeemed the lackluster of a main event from Battleground. This time he was met with an uproarious reaction from the crowd. And he was every bit the giant at his best. He made the Shield fly out of the ring and came face to face with Triple H and what could have been like a typical follow up of awkward silence until he punches him but actually it did not take much time. He came and got the crowd excited enough to have no awkward silences. And Credits to Triple H for selling that punch like a gunshot.

What made me excited was the fact that Big Show returned without security coming to escort him. Did he get a phone call from Vince McMahon and was reinstated? As we know Vince will be returning sooner than his scheduled return because of the dismal ratings. So is it possible we see the return happen next week. I mean, there has to be a reason someone who was fired, came back. What neutralizes power is more power in the WWE.

In other news, John Cena never stops being SuperCena. I am not excited about his scheduled return. it would have been much better if he had made an unexpected live appearance sometime in the future. Now he will get the main event slots. Atleast I hope not. He is back from an injury that was supposed to put him off for 4-6 months. Typical!

Also Bray Wyatt’s beard seems to defy gravity. Like, really! A weird thing that I noticed about this weird character!

But for now, I am excited as Vince’s return date gets closer. And HBK is back! Triple H has to now prevent himself from bowing down to these kings!
