WWE News: MVP not returning to WWE as of now

MVP also won the Tag Team Championship once during his WWE run

It looks like not everything is not going according to the plans for WWE officials right now at least in terms of fulfilling the vacated spots on their rosters.  First, we reported that ECW Legend Tommy Dreamer declined the offer from WWE officials and then the former United States Champion Shelton benjamin announced that he will not be returning to WWE due to an injury.

Now it looks like another former United States Champion is not quite in the mood of becoming the part of WWE's 'New Era'. Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that former WWE Star MVP has declined the offer from WWE for a return.

The rumors of his return started circulating last month when he was seen backstage during an NXT show. Although later he claimed that he went there only to meet his old friends from NJPW and he is still taking independent bookings as seen in the below tweet:

Now 411mania is reporting that the offers which WWE put in front of some of these stars who are considered reputed names in the independent circuit, were too low and these wrestlers including MVP felt that they deserved more. The site also reports that while the matter is not completely dead, the former US champion is insisting that he is not returning.
