WWE News: Adam Rose revamping his gimmick for the indy scene

Looks like the PG party is over

WWE Superstar Adam Rose recently found himself in deep trouble with WWE. His Twitter statements regarding how unjust his 60 suspension was earned him a severe backstage heat. But, the recent domestic violence charge filed against him were the last straw for WWE and they immediately released him. Considering WWE’s history with drugs and domestic violence it was not surprising.

Since his release, Adam Rose is looking to spread out his wings in the independent scene. Wrestlezone reports that Adam Rose has changed his name for the independent scene and will be going by the name of Aldo Rose. Adam Rose’s new Twitter bio now reads “Ain’t no more PG in this party!” and this had led to the speculation that his independent scene gimmick would be lot edgier than his toned down PG gimmick in WWE.

Sources close to Adam Rose also report that he chose the party gimmick over the much successful NXT gimmick of Leo Kruger. The Leo Kruger gimmick earned Adam Rose a lot of appreciation in NXT and one would have expected the Superstar to stick with it in the independent scene. Wrestlezone also reports that Adam Rose is now accepting bookings from the independent scene.
