WWE News: AJ Styles reveals the biggest moment of his career

No, it wasn't a title win at all!
No, it wasn't a title win at all!

What's the story?

AJ Styles is an integral part of SmackDown Live and the WWE roster today, having only been in the company for over a year. During an interview with Hindustan Times, Styles was asked about the biggest moment of his career, thus far.

Styles had no qualms admitting that it was his appearance at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view, last year. Styles made his debut on the grandest stage imaginable, making an instant impression.

In case you didn't know...

After an amazing career in TNA and NJPW, AJ Styles finally stepped into a WWE ring at the 2016 Royal Rumble at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida. He was the number 3 entrant, after Roman Reigns and Rusev, and the crowd came alive when he made his debut. He lasted almost half an hour in the ring, and was eliminated by Kevin Owens.

The heart of the matter

When asked about the greatest moment in his exemplary career, AJ Styles had this to say:

My debut in the Royal Rumble was the biggest moment of my career! I was quite overwhelmed by the support shown by WWE fans and that is something I will never forget.

It is amazing how Styles has catapulted the amazing debut into launching himself as one of the prime players in the company. He's grown on the microphone and is just as good as ever in the ring. He added during the interview that he still felt that he had room for growth, at this stage in his career.

What's next?

AJ Styles is seemingly in a feud with Baron Corbin, at this time. We have to wait and see if this current program leads to a US Title match at Hell in a Cell.

Author's take

It's impossible to think of a better way to make one's WWE debut. The WWE Universe was chanting 'AJ Styles' through the Royal Rumble match, proving just how much Styles has achieved in his 'phenomenal' career outside WWE. A true legend...I sincerely wish AJ Styles all the best, for the rest of his WWE run.
