WWE News: AJ Styles set to defend the WWE Championship in a triple threat match

Earlier today, WWE Champion AJ Styles has made announced that he was set to defend the title against both Jinder Mahal and John Cena in a mega triple threat match on December 30, 2017.
In case you didn’t know…
Current WWE Champion AJ Styles has a lot of history with both John Cena and Jinder Mahal. “The Phenomenal One” defeated John Cena on two different occasions in 2016, but Cena won his 16th World Title earlier this year by defeating Styles at the Royal Rumble.
On the other hand, Jinder Mahal recently lost the WWE Title to AJ Styles and the two men also faced off in a rematch a few weeks ago at the Clash of Champions pay-per-view, where Styles obviously came out on top.
The heart of the matter
Earlier today, WWE released a clip on their official Instagram account where AJ Styles stated that on December 30th he was going to put the title on the line against John Cena and Jinder Mahal.
Styles additionally said that he knows what Jinder Mahal is exactly about and is aware that “The Modern Day Maharaja” will do anything to get regain the WWE Title.
The WWE Champion then also sent a message to John Cena saying that he is going to pick on him for being a free agent and ended the interview claiming that the WWE Championship isn’t going anywhere.
What’s next?
There is no doubt that Styles and Cena have tremendous in-ring chemistry with each other and come December 30, the two men along with Jinder Mahal will put up a stellar show for the Tampa crowd.

The fact that AJ Styles is going to defend the WWE Title just days before 2017 ends is indeed phenomenal and there is absolutely no doubt that Styles along with Cena and Mahal will have a great match later this week.
