WWE News: Alberto Del Rio continues to take shots at WWE and Triple H
What’s the story?
Former WWE Superstar and current Impact Wrestling performer Alberto Del Rio aka Alberto El Patron has taken to social media once again to take shots at the WWE and the company’s head honcho Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque.
In case you didn’t know...
Del Rio, whose real name is Jose Rodriguez, wrestled for the WWE from 2010-14 and returned in 2015 for a brief stint with the company. The 39-year old former WWE Champion has been extremely vocal about his issues with WWE management ever since he parted ways with them.
As we reported previously, Del Rio went on several drunken rants against the WWE and streamed a few videos live on the internet. He is presently under contract with Impact Wrestling.
The heart of the matter
Del Rio who recently won the GFW (Global Force Wrestling) Global Championship inside the Impact Wrestling ring, posted a few pics on his official Instagram account with captions that appear to be subtle shots at his former employers- the WWE.
After 1 hour of sleep, jet lag and nearly missing the flight.. I made it to @impactwrestling I couldn't be happier. They treat everyone so well.. that's what a real company does. They take care of everyone. Talent, behind the scenes etc that help their company grow bigger.. now it's time to get to work and kick some traseros 20 different ways! #sisisi Llegando a la chamba a mi nueva casa, un lugar que le da su lugar a todo su talento para seguir creciendo y llevar esta empresa a la cima de la #luchalibre

The Mexican star reportedly used the opportunity to thank his new employers at Impact whilst simultaneously taking a dig at the WWE.
What’s next?
Del Rio performs for Impact Wrestling as Alberto El Patron and recently won the GFW Global title in the Impact Zone, now that GFW and Impact Wrestling have officially merged. Fans can expect El Patron to appear in a more prominent role on Impact Wrestling from this point moving forward.
Author’s take
Allegations have been cast from both WWE as well as El Patron on one another, with the latter being relatively more vocal amongst the two. However, we still wish the Mexicano star the best of luck in his career.
Hasta Luego Amigo, see you in the Wild West that is Impact!
