WWE News: Alexa Bliss has hilarious interaction with Braun Strowman
What's the story?
WWE Superstars Braun Strowman and Alexa Bliss seem to have hit it off as Mixed Match Challenge partners as their most recent social media video shows Braun Strowman immediately leaping to the defence of the Monday Night RAW women's champion.
In case you didn't know...
Alexa Bliss and Braun Strowman are one of the many teams thrown together in WWE's new Facebook Watch exclusive weekly show the 'Mixed Match Challenge' where mixed tag-teams from Monday Night RAW and SmackDown LIVE are competing to win their designated charity money and win the tournament.
Bliss and Strowman are set to take on Sami Zayn and Becky Lynch in week three of the tournament. The next match will be Asuka and Miz vs Carmella and Big E.
The heart of the matter
In the meantime, it looks like 'The Goddess' and 'The Monster Among Men' have bonded as evidenced by a video the pair posted after a recent WWE house show.
Alexa Bliss was making her triumphant exit from the ring and was posing on the ramp when Curt Hawkins made his entrance for his match which was up next, interrupting her gloating and shooing her away.
Bliss, who was upset at the way Hawkins treated her ran backstage, but not to longtime friend and ally Nia Jax, no! She went straight to Braun and told him about what happened. He asked her what she was saying, and she responded with 'Braun Smash'. Strowman promptly got up, went to the ring, destroyed Hawkins in seconds and then warned people not to cross his MMC partner. Such loyalty!
What's next?
Bliss and Strowman have to be heavy favourites for the Mixed Match Challenge with Alexa dominating the WWE women's division on both SmackDown LIVE and RAW in 2017 and Braun Strowman, well, being Braun Strowman!
Author's take
I sincerely, sincerely hope this leads to a little Braun Strowman side-storyline on the main roster where he and Alexa are friends and he runs to her defence and smashes something whenever someone wrongs her. Please WWE.
