What’s the story?

An altercation reportedly transpired during The Shield’s entrance on Monday Night RAW.

Earlier this week, The Shield waded through the crowd for their match on RAW, when a fan had a brief tussle with security personnel:

In case you didn’t know…

The professional wrestling business has been witness to one of the most passionate performers and fan-bases in the world of sports and entertainment.

Speaking of which, there have indeed been several instances of fans getting into fights with event management personnel at the arenas.

The heart of the matter

The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns) competed against The Miz, Sheamus & Cesaro on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW.

It was during The Shield’s entrance before this matchup that the aforementioned fan-altercation transpired. During their trademark entrance through the crowd, a male fan attempted to get up close with the Hounds Of Justice when a security personnel grasped him.

However, that, in turn, caused the fan to lose his balance and fall down the stairs, before eventually being escorted away by security personnel at the scene.

What’s next?

The WWE is yet to issue a statement regarding the identity of the fan…if at all.

Besides, as of this writing, it’s unknown whether or not the unidentified fan has decided to take action against the security at the event which went down at the Phillips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia on November 13th.

Author’s take

Well, to be honest, one cannot really fault the security personnel here, in the sense that the fan really seemed aggressive and could’ve potentially endangered the WWE Superstars in the heat of the moment.

Regardless, it’s great to see that no one was seriously hurt during the altercation, and the incident didn’t get out of hand.
