WWE News: An update on the future of Roman Reigns and Batista in WWE
What's the story?
After Roman Reigns and Batista made their respective returns to WWE on this week's RAW, it appears that the pair will be appearing on WWE television going forward - with both men scheduled for the upcoming episode of Monday Night RAW.
In case you didn't know...
Until this week's RAW, Roman Reigns had been off WWE television since October 22nd, 2018 when he relinquished the Universal Championship and announced that he'd be stepping away from the ring indefinitely while he battled leukaemia.
Reigns announced some great news to kick off this week's RAW - that he was indeed in remission and that The Big Dog would be returning to the ring! He even appeared later in the night to help save Shield brother Dean Ambrose.
Meanwhile, Batista returned to WWE for a cameo during SmackDown 1000, and shocked the world when he returned to the fray this week, attacking Ric Flair in an apparent tease that he would be returning to take on Triple H.
The heart of the matter
PWInsider.com have today confirmed that both Roman Reigns and Batista are scheduled to appear on this week's Monday Night Raw after making their respective returns on Monday night.
There is no news yet, though, on what role the pair will play on the upcoming RAW, or what future events they are scheduled for. With two appearances in a row, though, you'd have to imaging WWE is preparing to up the ante in the run-up to WrestleMania, and two of the biggest Superstars in the world are definitely one way to do that!
What's next?
Well, Monday Night Raw is a must-watch with these two men scheduled to appear. I guess we'll know more come Monday!
