WWE News: Backstage concerns over Finn Balor's Demon avatar debuting at SummerSlam

After having one of the most spectacular debuts in the recent history of WWE programming on the first post-draft episode of Monday Night Raw, Finn Balor is now all set to introduce the other part of his wrestling persona known among fans as the 'Demon King' to the main roster at SummerSlam.

However, while there are hardly any questions about Finn Balor's in ring abilities, it looks like there are still some people within WWE who think that they are bringing the alter ego of the former NXT Champion on WWE TV too soon.

Daily wrestling news recently revealed that the feeling among some WWE officials is that the former NJPW star has not been in the main roster long enough and they should delay the debut of his ‘Demon King’ persona.

They common belief is that they should give some more time to Balor to develop his character on the main roster and the arrival of the Demon Paint should be held off until after SummerSlam.

Although the site also reports that the chairman of the board Vince McMahon is a big fan of Balor's Demon look, as well as his entrance as the monster and he wants it on the main roster as early as possible.

And despite all the concerns, the current plans still call for the former Prince Devitt to appear with the makeup and costume of his 'Demon King' avatar during his bout with the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins at SummerSlam.

It's notable here that WWE have started focusing more on Balor's Demon King avatar on WWE programming since the past couple of weeks. In fact, his SummerSlam opponent Seth Rollins has even promised to call out his opponent's alter ego next week on Monday Night Raw.

Many are seeing it as a sign that fans might not have to wait until SummerSlam and they may get their first look at Balor's mythological avatar on the main roster as soon as this Monday.

Finn Balor made his main roster debut at 25th July episode of Monday Night Raw where he defeated Roman Reigns in a one on one bout after winning a fatal four-way match and is now set to take on the Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins to become the first ever WWE Universal Champion.

Early speculations are suggesting that the NXT veteran can pull off one of the biggest upsets in the history of pro wrestling by defeating the former Shield Member and becoming the first Universal Champion.
