What's the story?

In a backstage segment on RAW this past week, Ronda Rousey cut a rather intense promo, calling Becky Lynch "The Millenial Man". It looks like Paul Heyman was the one responsible for helping her in the promo, according to her latest YouTube vlog.

In case you didn't know...

Ronda Rousey was scheduled to face Becky Lynch in the most-anticipated match of Survivor Series. During the go-home episode of RAW, Becky Lynch led an ambush on Team RAW's Women's division and during the brawl, got legitimately punched by Nia Jax.

This led to a concussion and broken nose for Becky Lynch, who WWE deemed medically unclear to compete for Sunday. She then chose Charlotte Flair as her replacement for the match, which was originally her rumoured WrestleMania 35 opponent.

The heart of the matter

You can check out Ronda Rousey's latest YouTube vlog, where she revealed that she had to go over some lines with Paul Heyman.

It's interesting to see that Rousey is working with one of the greatest promo-men in the history of the business. We all know just how good Heyman is, which makes it reassuring that Rousey is working with him.

As we've seen, Rousey has excelled in the ring in a short span of time, but her promo work is where she's lacking. It's true that she hasn't been in the business for more than 10 months, but having Heyman help her could definitely boost her confidence and skills.

Perhaps once Brock Lesnar is done with WWE, Heyman can take a backstage role and help out talent like Rousey with their promos.

What's next?

Ronda Rousey faces Charlotte Flair in an impromptu dream match at Survivor Series. It's going to be really interesting to see the direction of the match.
