WWE News: Backstage photo of Matt Hardy in a 'BROKEN' condition
What's the story?
On last night's edition of Monday Night Raw, Bray Wyatt came to the ring to cut a promo, and tell us we are all dead while laughing in a crazy manner. After the promo, Wyatt faced Matt Hardy, who came to the ring with a different demeanour than normal.
After losing to Wyatt, the cameras showed Matt in the corner of the ring, and for fans of Broken Matt Hardy, what happened after was absolutely delightful!
WWE caught up with Hardy after the match backstage and posted the following on their Instagram account.
In case you didn't know...
The Broken Matt character debuted in Impact Wrestling early in 2016. Matt's constant desire and failure to defeat his brother Jeff drove him mad, but eventually, Matt won the match that forced Jeff to be broken like himself.
The heart of the matter
After the loss to Wyatt, the GIF shown above was only just part of the broken brilliance coming through. He would use the delete gesture several times in a row after that.
Ever since Matt and Jeff returned to the WWE this April, there were hints of the former Broken character, but the threat of a lawsuit from Anthem and Impact Wrestling put the lid on a full-blown Broken Hardy character.
Now that Matt has filed the necessary paperwork for the trademark en route to full control over the intellectual property, it seems like Vince McMahon is comfortable with the complete transformation to Broken Matt after the events that unfolded on Raw this week.
What's next?
Expect further developments on the Broken condition of Matt Hardy on next week's edition of Monday Night Raw. The December 4th edition of Raw takes place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

As a fan of the Broken Matt character, I am beyond excited at what transpired on Raw. Now if we can only get Reby Hardy out there to play the piano for his entrance, everything will be complete!
