WWE News: Becky Lynch responds to Cody Rhodes about AEW
What's the story?
WrestleMania 35 main eventer Becky Lynch, has had a difficult journey to the top of the WWE, having had to grind her way through the independent scene and then NXT, before getting the call up to the main roster.
One person that she has been grateful to in her career is the late great WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes, who was always supportive and encouraging towards her.
The Man replied to an old tweet of Rhodes, saying that she will prove him right in a week's time at WrestleMania 35, to which Rhodes' son, Cody, replied.
In case you didn't know...
Dusty Rhodes, apart from having a Hall of Fame career, was a writer and producer on NXT, where he honed the likes of Becky Lynch.

In recent interviews, Lynch revealed that if it weren't for Dusty Rhodes, she would not be in the WWE and praised the WWE Hall of Famer for mentoring and guiding her, and also encouraging her to do well.
The heart of the matter
Becky Lynch quote tweeted a 2015 tweet by Dusty Rhodes, that Becky would become 'great' and that she was one of the top 5 stars in the last five years in NXT. Lynch replied with this:
Dusty Rhodes' son and former WWE Superstar, Cody, who is now a part of AEW, replied to the tweet to which Becky wished him and AEW the best.
Chris Jericho recently revealed that WWE had banned their Superstars from coming on his podcast, which makes Becky Lynch's reply surprising.

Becky Lynch will be in the main event of WrestleMania 35, where she will face off against Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair for the RAW Women's title.
