WWE News: Becky Lynch vs Alexa Bliss at TLC is now a Tables match

A singles match has now turned into a Tables match

Becky Lynch will defend her Smackdown Women’s Championship against Alexa Bliss in a Tables match. It was announced on Talking Smack that the match is to be a tables match. It was teased in the opening segment of Smackdown Live when Alexa Bliss pushed Becky Lynch onto the table, breaking it in half

The feud between Alexa Bliss and Becky Lynch began after Backlash when Alexa Bliss won a Fatal-5-Way match to become the Number One Contender to the then-newly crowned Smackdown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch.

The two were supposed to face off at No Mercy, but Becky Lynch underwent an undisclosed operation and was out for a few weeks. They did have a championship match on the November 8th episode of Smackdown Live in Glasgow. The match had a dusty finish, prompting a rematch.

There are 6 matches on the TLC card so far, with the only match without a stipulation being the Smackdown Tag Team Championship match. So far, the card looks like this:

AJ Styles(c) vs Dean Ambrose – TLC Match for the WWE World Championship
Becky Lynch(c) vs Alexa Bliss – Tables match for the Smackdown Women’s Championship
Heath Slater & Rhyno(c) vs Bray Wyatt & Randy Orton(The New Wyatt Family) – Smackdown Tag Team Championship
The Miz(c) vs Dolph Ziggler- Ladders Match for the Intercontinental Championship
Nikki Bella vs Carmella – No Disqualification match
Baron Corbin vs Kalisto – Chairs match

The Pay-Per-View itself has had only two weeks to build up, with Survivor Series being on November 20th  and TLC this coming Sunday on December 4th.  This is perhaps the reason why all of the matches(except for the Tag Team Championship match) has been a continuation of feuds prior to Survivor Series.
