WWE News: Big shift in betting odds for No Mercy championship match

It looks like things could be still changing backstage

As we approach any WWE pay-per-view there's always the possibility of things changing at the last minute. After all, everything is determined by Vince McMahon and he's been known to switch things up.

No Mercy will feature a championship match that was added at the last minute. The Miz is set to defend his Intercontinental Championship against Jason Jordan. Kurt Angle's baby boy won this honor by defeating a bunch of other Raw Superstars in an over the top rope battle royal.

While it looked like he was being pushed into the IC Title picture with the intention to put the title on him, the betting odds have shifted in this case.

Bookmaker Paddy Power has confirmed The Miz is now a 4/7 favorite to retain his title while Jason Jordan is listed as a 6/5 underdog.

Jason Jordan was formally listed as favorite to take home The Miz's title but it looks like those plans might have changed.

Even though these odds seem to have altered and there might be a different result expected for the Intercontinental Title match it still doesn't mean it's a sure thing.

As stated above, Vince McMahon can do whatever he wants at a moments notice and even has the power to reach the referee's ear in the middle of a contest in order to change things if he gets a bright idea about a different way to go.
