WWE News: Big Show gives an update regarding his progress, following hip surgery
What’s the story?
WWE superstar The Big Show, who recently underwent hip surgery, last month, took it to Twitter in order to give his fans an update regarding his progress following the surgery.
Big Show posted a video of him training in the gym alongside his trainer, who has been helping him with his recovery.
In case you didn’t know…
It was reported last month by Pro Wrestling Sheet’s James McKenna that Big Show would have to undergo hip surgery, following his brutal steel cage match against Braun Strowman on 4th September 2017.
After his loss to Strowman inside the steel cage “The Monster among Men” decided to put Show through the cage in order to write him off the TV, which eventually allowed him to get his much-needed hip surgery.
The heart of the matter
Earlier today Big Show decided to post a video on twitter where he addressed all his fans and gave us an update regarding his condition after undergoing surgery.
In the video, the former WWE Champion thanked all the WWE fans for sending him well wishes and positive messages on his road to recovery.
Big Show then added that his rehabbing has been going well and said that he is going to start calling himself “The Metal Hip Wolverine” because of him making such quick progress. He concluded by stating that he will be faster than ever and cannot wait to get back into the squared circle in order to compete again.
Two days ago, Big Show also shared a photo of himself on Twitter in which he seemed to be in insane shape. Big Show is already back in the gym only three weeks after his surgery.
What’s next?
As of right now, Big Show continues to go through the rehabbing process as he looks to get back to his best. However, it will long before we see him get back in a WWE ring but he deserves to take some time off from the company after taking so many bad bumps inside the ring.
Author’s take
It’s absolutely insane how Big Show is already back in the gym and has started to train for his return already, only after three weeks of his surgery. This only goes on to prove how dedicated he is towards WWE and how much the fans mean to him.
