WWE News: Big Show reveals Kane's gloves are so smelly it makes one faint

Big Show was drafted to Raw during the Brand Extension drafts

Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Big Show has not featured much on WWE programming lately and since the start of the year, he has only made a handful of on-screen appearances for the company.

Due to the nature of WWE, his absence has triggered all sorts of rumours among WWE fans and people have been trying to guess the reason behind his hiatus from WWE TV.

During his recent interview with GamesRadar, the former ECW Champion opened up about the situation and said that WWE is not using him currently because they are trying to build other new stars. He said:

“They don’t need me right now. They’re building Baron Corbin, Big Cass, Braun Strowman. Hopefully, they’ll give Erick Rowan a chance because I’m a big fan of his. I’ve done everything I can do, and I have a big WrestleMania spot with Shaq coming up, so I’m sure in January we’ll kick that off and I’ll be back on TV more. For now, they’re using me like they should: as an attraction.”

Speaking of The Big Red Monster Kane, who has been a frequent opponent of the Monster Sized Athlete and with whom, he won the WWE Tag Team Championships back in 2011, Show revealed that his gloves smell like yak meet:

“Kane’s gloves get pretty rank. He grabs you for a chokeslam and you just want to faint. It smells like rancid friggin’ yak meat. It’s the sweat, it builds up real quick. Kneepads, masks – they suggest you throw them in the freezer for a month [every so often], to kill all the bacteria.”

Taking about his fellow WWE Star Sheamus, who Show beat at the 2012 Hell In A Cell PPV to win his second World Title, the former United States Champion said that he used to get bruised after having a match with Sheamus;

“Sheamus [above] and I used to beat the snot out of each other. When we were feeding I would sit on my bus at night and look at all these bruises all over me and be like, “this is supposed to be a work”. Good guy, though. Great attitude. Sheamus doesn’t have a ‘work’ speed, he just hits the piss out of you. So you give it back, or you get beat up."

Big Show last appeared on WWE TV during the Independence Day edition of Monday Night Raw on July 4th where he was a part of an 8 men tag team dubbed as Team USA. His team which consisted all American Superstars defeated another 8 men tag team consisting wrestlers from multiple countries.
