What’s the story?

During tonight’s edition of Monday Night Raw in London, the duo, Curt Axel, and Bo Dallas introduced a new tag team name for themselves and will be billed as ‘The B Team’ moving forward.

In case you didn’t know…

During this year’s WWE Superstar Shake-up, the trio of The Miz, Bo Dallas, and Curtis Axel, collectively known as The Miztourage, competed in their final match on Raw together as a group.

Both Dallas and Axel decided to betray their former leader The Miz during a 10-man tag team match, seemingly leaving ‘The A-Lister’ to get wrecked apart by ‘The Monster Among Men’ Braun Strowman.

The Miz eventually then got drafted over to SmackDown Live, whereas, both Dallas and Axel attempted to form an alliance with Finn Balor and asked ‘The Demon King’ to form a new Balor Club, only to get rejected by the former Universal Champion.

The two men also had an offer for WWE Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins, after asking ‘The Architect’ to form a brand new Shield, alongside both Dallas and Axel.

However, much like Balor, Rollins’ answer was no different as he rejected the former Miztourage members as well.

The heart of the matter

As noted, on this week’s episode of Raw at The O2 Arena in London, the team of Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel seemed like a newly renovated duo.

They started labeling themselves as 'The B Team' and noted that their former faction, The Miztourge didn’t seem to have a great run, whereas, 'The B Team' remains an undefeated duo.

Both Dallas and Axel, who appeared to be in very high spirits in London, seemingly approached Raw GM Kurt Angle and asked him for a shot at the Woken Warriors’ Raw Tag Team Titles, which was eventually granted to them Angle, as he went on to confirm the match for later on in the show.

However, The B Team apparently had to go through the duo of Tyler Breeze and Fandango first, in order to get to their title match against Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt.

Much to everyone’s surprise, both Dallas and Axel eventually went on to pick up the win over Breezango and kicked started their fresh and brand new run together as a tag team.

What’s next?

'The B Team' now awaits to get their shot at the Woken Warriors and the Raw Tag Team Championships. Both Dallas and Axel will look to make a huge impact by capturing the Championship belt from Hardy and Wyatt.

Author’s Take

The B Team certainly does sound like a name that you would expect for a tag team like Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel and I also think that this fresh start for the two men might just work out pretty well for them.
