WWE News: Bobby Roode makes his televised NXT debut

He has won the TNA world title twice

After months of speculation, Former TNA star Bobby Roode finally made his on-screen debut in the WWE during tonight's NXT tapings. Unfortunately, the episode he taped will be aired on 10th August so fans will have to wait some more time before they can finally see the former TNA world champion on WWE TV.

During his debut, Roode cut a promo seemingly as a babyface saying that the wait is finally over. However, the babyface image lasted only a few moments as Roode continued by saying that he'll make NXT a better place and soon the arena will be filled with businessmen and not the loser fans.

It's notable here that Roode surprised everyone by wrestling a match for WWE during an NXT Live Event back in June. Ever since then fans have been eager for the former TNA star to make an on-screen appearance for the company.

This is not the first time Roode has worked with WWE in any capacity. During his early wrestling days back in 2002-2004, Roode worked several dark matches for the company before joining TNA in 2004. He stayed in TNA for 12 long years before finally parting ways this March.
