WWE News:  Booker T invites Corey Graves to appear on his radio show

What's the story?

The very public feud between former WWE Monday Night Raw color commentator Booker T and current commentator Corey Graves is about to get interesting. Booker T is inviting Graves to come onto his radio show to clear the air.

In case you didn't know...

Booker T joined the Monday Night Raw commentary team in the spring of 2017 filling in for David Otunga as he was filming a movie. Otunga never returned to the role, and Booker T became a permanent part of the commentary in the summer of 2017.

The heart of the matter

On Friday morning Booker T would post the following on Twitter:

Ever since Jonathan Coachman replaced Booker T on the commentary team, speculation ran rampant that Graves was the one who got Booker T removed from the position. Last week on Booker T's podcast, Heated Conversations, he said he would fight Graves if he saw him in person again.

That would prompt the following tweet from Corey Graves last week:

During Asuka's entrance this Monday, Graves appeared to take a shot at Booker T by warning Coach that if he continued to argue, he may end up on local afternoon radio.

Graves also tweeted on Friday morning shortly after Booker T's post, apparently accepting the offer to join Booker's radio show to discuss the situation and clear the air. Take a look at Graves' response below:

What's next?

Stay tuned to Sportskeeda for more on this situation between Booker T and Corey Graves. Next up for Graves and the Raw brand will be a trip to the SAP Center in San Jose, California on February 12th.

Author's take

It's good to see that they're going to clear the air on this very soon. We could have all been fooled and this was actually a rib that both Graves and Booker T were in on.

There was a report that came out earlier today that Graves wasn't the reason Booker T was replaced, as the plan to hire Coach was decided upon by management.

This particular radio show will definitely be an interesting listen.
