WWE News: Booker T on whether Hulk Hogan should get another chance in WWE
What's the story?
During the most recent edition of his Heated Conversations radio show, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T spoke about if WWE and the fans should give Hulk Hogan another chance, following his leaked racial slurs from 2015.
In case you didn't know...
There have been numerous reports over the past 2 years about Hulk Hogan possibly returning to WWE. Many believe there would still be a bit of a public backlash when the news would break of a Hulk Hogan return, which is pretty much the only reason why it still hasn't happened.
The most recent and legit of Hogan return rumors came earlier this week when TMZ revealed that a deal between WWE and Hulk Hogan is pretty close to being reached.
The heart of the matter
While speaking on his Heated Conversations radio show earlier this week, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T spoke on Hulk Hogan possibly returning to WWE and if Hogan should be given a second chance. Booker said (H/T: Wrestling Inc.);
"The only thing Hogan can do is apologize, atone for it, and we move forward. Everyone deserves a second chance that's just the way I am."
Booker also made reference to how he was forgiven when he accidentally used the 'n word' during a live promo on Hulk Hogan, on national television. Booker said that Hulk Hogan was in his corner, and was also responsible he and Stevie Ray being pushed early on.
What's next?
We are still waiting for more information on the supposed talks between WWE and Hulk Hogan, as first revealed by TMZ.
Author's take
I have to agree cent percent here with Booker T. Hogan is genuinely remorseful for everything he has said and done over the past few years and I believe he is trying really hard to show us all that he's a changed man.
