WWE News: Booker T says he's tired of watching James Ellsworth in the WWE
Former WWE superstar, Booker T, recently spoke on his podcast, Heated Conversations, about the newest member of the Smackdown Live roster, James Ellsworth. He said that he is tired of seeing Ellsworth make appearances every week and wants him to be sent back to the independent circuit but knows that he will be around for a while now. Here’s what he said:
“It is old. I’m tired of seeing James Ellsworth. This kid had one hell of a run, but send him back to the independents. I’ve seen this guy at a convention, I was appalled, but this guy is going to live this run for quite some time. He’s probably getting a good price out there on the Indy show.

James Ellsworth has enjoyed a lot of popularity ever since he made his first appearance on Raw, a few months back, despite the fact that he was beaten convincingly by Braun Strowman. However, he has become even more popular, after he pulled off two victories over WWE World Champion AJ Styles with the aid of the latter’s rival, Dean Ambrose.
The former 5-time WCW champion admitted that he does not hate Ellsworth but questioned whether James Ellsworth really fits into the WWE ‘mould’.
The WWE Hall of Famer said, “They’re probably bringing him in as an attraction, but the thing of it is, me personally I’m not a hater, but you must ride it for as long as you can. Look at Hornswoggle, he worked with WWE for 6-7 years, you can’t hate people like that, but you wonder how James Ellsworth fit into the WWE mould?”
Booker T was of the opinion that the Reality of Wrestling promotion, that he owns, has a number of stars who are capable of making it to the WWE. Looking at Ellsworth, he feels that they, too, have a great chance of getting through but will have to wait for their turn.
“There are people in my Reality of Wrestling just scratching at the door, so when I see Ellsworth, there’s just gotta be a way, but you have to wait your turn, but it’s definitely getting a little old,” Booker added.
