WWE News: Braun Strowman and Alexa Bliss will team up for WWE Mixed Match Challenge
What's the story?
WWE's Mixed Match Challenge is set to be a groundbreaking event with plenty of great moments. Kurt Angle needed to pull Enzo Amore out of the series because he is sick and two weeks obviously isn't enough time for him to recover. So the Raw General Manager recently made another team with Alexa Bliss and Braun Strowman which is a huge announcement.
In case you didn't know...
Reports are that WWE is going to pull out all the stops in hopes to impress not only Facebook top brass but also owners of other streaming services. They want to bring a lot of people to the show because the reaction and revenue achieved from WWE Mixed Match Challenge could very well go to mean big changes in WWE's future when it comes to how fans consume the product years from now.
Heart of the matter
Braun Strowman and Alexa Bliss are going to make a pretty terrific tandem on the show. It all kicks off on January 16th after SmackDown Live, so those two Raw Superstars will be on hand to help make the groundbreaking endeavor as big as they can.
What's next?
Alexa Bliss is a decorated champion and although Braun Strowman hasn't been able to pick up a singles title yet, one could assume there will be plenty of chances for The Monster Among Men to hold his share of singles titles. It might also be a good idea for any other teams in the Mixed Match Challenge to take this team of Strowman and Bliss very seriously.
Author's take
This is the kind of thing you can expect from the Mixed Match Challenge. After all, they really seem to want to mix things up and give fans matchups and partnerships they wouldn't normally see on the other WWE main roster shows. It really gives you something cool to look forward to on January 16th, that's for sure.
