WWE News: Braun Strowman reveals the future plans for his character
The Black Sheep of WWE and the former member of the Wyatt Family Braun Strowman was the featured guest on the latest episode of the Steve Austin Show along with the host, WWE Legend Stone Cold Steve Austin. In the Podcast Strowman talked about many things including his position in WWE and more.
During the interview, Steve Austin asked Braun to describe his current position in the company. In reply, Strowman mentioned how he is now working alone as the other members of the Wyatt Family has been drafted to SmackDown stating that “all three other brothers are over on Smackdown.”.
Although it's notable here that Luke Harper is actually out due to an injury and it has not been disclosed which Brand he will join after his return.
After this, Steve asked Braun if he had to do any special exercises during his training at the WWE Performance Center due to his massive physique but he said that he followed the same drills and exercises as everyone else in the performance center.
The former World Champion then started talking about Strowman's early career in WWE and asked how he felt when he found out that he was going to be a part of Wyatt Family.
Strowman replied to this by quoting that it was a mark out moment for him and said that he feels incredibly lucky to be paired with guys like Bray Wyatt, Erick Rowan, and Luke Harper.
He revealed that he has become a very good friend with Bray while mentioning that it was a heartbreaking moment for him when he found out that the Family was going to split up during the Brand Extension Drafts.
Strowman also praised Bray Wyatt for helping him in the development of his character by providing him post-match notes and helpful suggestions. He added that both Big Show and Kane have also been very helpful in bringing life to his character.
While talking about his goals in WWE Braun said that he would like to have a shot at the announced WWE Universal Championship but also admitted that he is not ready for something like it at this stage of his career.
At last, They both talked about the future plans for his character stating that he would like to work as a heel but the current plans call for fans to decide what he would eventually be.
According to the former Wyatt Family member, they are currently examing the fans' reaction and seeing “whether they like watching him beat guys up or whether they hate seeing guys getting beaten up.”
