WWE News: Bray Wyatt issues another apology post-RAW
Bray Wyatt made his triumphant return to RAW following a week of radio silence to interrupt WWE Hall of Famer Jerry "The King" Lawler and ambush the legendary Superstar and commentator.
King was a special guest on RAW, scheduled for a King's Court segment with Sasha Banks. Before Banks could make her way to the ring, though, Lawler was cutting a promo about how life-changing the King of the Ring tournament can be and making his predictions for the final four.
Lawler manager to predict his two RAW semifinalists, before the lights dimmed - but a clever King knew what was next and tried to escape - to no fruition.
The Fiend would ambush Lawler as he stood on the stage after only making it up the ramp before the lights completely dimmed.
Another apology...
Bray Wyatt has made a habit of attacking Hall of Famers, but even more so of issuing apologies to them - saying sorry to Superstars and former Superstars left, right and centre.
Well, King has no reason to feel left out, as his beating on RAW came with an apology just over 12 hours later, too.
That may not come as much consolation, though, as a Mandible Claw ruined King's appearance as RAW's guest commentator for the week and cancelled his King's Court appearance with Sasha Banks.
Vic Joseph of NXT would take over from commentary duties while Cole would interview Sasha Banks via live link later on Monday Night RAW.
Why the Mandible Claw?
Bray Wyatt has been using the new finishing move since his second ever appearance where he laid waste to Mick Foley, taking the Hardcore Legend's move in the process.
I recently spoke with Korey Gunz on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Dropkick DiSKUssions podcast to discuss Wyatt's nods to the previous Bray Wyatt character, how Bray Wyatt introduced us to the Fiend way back in 2015 and why he's using The Mandible Claw.
