WWE News: Bray Wyatt returns to in-ring action
One of the ‘must see’ matches of WWE Network’s special event – WWE Roadblock, was supposed to be the encounter between the Beast – Brock Lesnar and the eater of worlds – Bray Wyatt. At the last moment, though, it was changed to a 2-1 handicap match, with Bray and Luke Harper taking on Lesnar.
Unfortunately for the fans, Bray didn’t wrestle Brock at all and he tagged Luke as soon as the match started. Within minutes, Lesnar destroyed Harper, emerging as the victor. It was then revealed that Wyatt was suffering from a ‘serious’ back injury that prevented him from wrestling.
It was even rumored that WWE officials didn’t want Lesnar versus Wyatt at a Network special event but intend on saving the feud for the post-WrestleMania period. Wyatt is also expected get into a Championship feud with Roman Reigns after WrestleMania 32 is in the books.
Bray Wyatt was out of action with a back injury but wasn’t expected to be out for long.
To the fans delight, Wyatt returned to the ring at a recent WWE live event in Syracuse, on Friday, where he teamed with Braun Strowman and Erick Rowan in a losing effort to the team of Usos and Kane.
It was reported that Wyatt did wrestle in the match.
