WWE News: Bray Wyatt's potential return date revealed
The could be a silver lining in the dark cloud for Bray Wyatt, who is currently out of action after picking up a calf injury while facing off against WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns during a WWE Live Event in Milan, Italy – reports wrestlinginc.com.
WWE has so far kept Wyatt’s status under wraps, but according to the rumour mill during the franchise’s European tour, the wrestler didn’t rupture his calf but pulled a muscle instead. The lesser injury will keep him on the sidelines for approximately 4 to 6 weeks, according to Wrestling Observer newsletter.
This latest piece of news could be the silver lining as the injury isn’t as extreme as it seemed, which could mean that Wyatt could make a return to action on May 22nd for the WWE Extreme Rules pay per view.
The injury could be a blessing in disguise for Wyatt as his character in WWE could get a revamp due to the wrestler not fully emerging from the Wyatt Family’s shadow to become a star in his own right. The lack of trophies in the company doesn’t look good for Bray either.
Only the future can decide what’s in store for Wyatt next.
