WWE News: British Strong Style officially reunites in WWE
What’s the story?
Following The Undisputed Era’s successful NXT Tag Team Championship defense at WrestleMania Axxess earlier today, current WWE UK Champion Pete Dunne was seen making the save for some of his old allies from a brutal post-match beatdown at the hands of Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong.
In case you didn’t know…
In a shocking turn of events at NXT TakeOver: New Orleans, Roderick Strong pulled-off one of the biggest surprises of WrestleMania weekend when he betrayed his tag team partner Pete Dunne and joined forces The Undisputed Era, during the NXT Tag Team Championship match at the Smoothie King Center.
The heart of the matter
Earlier today at WrestleMania Axxess, the newly formed tag team of Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong of The Undisputed Era successfully defended their NXT Tag Team Titles for a second consecutive occasion as they defeated the team of Tyler Bate and Trent Seven— together billed as the Moustache Mountain.
However, following the match, O’Reilly and Strong once again ganged up on Bate and Seven and proceeded for a post-match assault in typical Undisputed Era manner, however, this time, “The Bruiserweight” Pete Dunne ran in and made the save for Bate and Seven and eventually reunited the British Strong Style for the first time on WWE TV.
What’s next?
The British Strong Style has certainly made their mark all over the UK Indie scene, most notably on PROGRESS Wrestling and now that the faction is finally on the same page yet again it is just a matter of time before we witness an eventual showdown between The Undisputed Era and The British Strong Style in WWE NXT.
Author’s Take
Now that the British Strong Style has finally reunited on WWE, we can now look forward to some amazing matches in the near future, involving the trio of Dunne, Bate, and Seven. A six-man tag team match between The Undisputed Era and British Strong Style will definitely be off the charts and a treat to watch.
