What’s the story?

As per announced by the WWE, several matches have now been confirmed for the upcoming WWE United Kingdom Championship Tournament event at the Royal Albert Hall with one of them being a much-awaited six-man tag team match between The Undisputed Era and The British Strong Style.

NXT TakeOver: New Orleans was certainly a wild night of wrestling full of ups and downs and as noted, “The Messiah of the Backbreaker” Roderick Strong was also involved in one of the highlights of the evening when he turned his back on current WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne, during the NXT Tag Team Championship match of the evening.

Strong and Dunne, who recently formed an alliance on NXT TV, went into battle with The Authors of Pain and The Undisputed Era (Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly) at NXT TakeOver: New Orleans, however, during the match, Strong eventually turned his back on “The BruiserWeight” and thus aligned himself with The Undisputed Era in the process.

The heart of the matter

The match cards for the second ever WWE United Kingdom Championship tournament is finally starting to take shape, as WWE.com has now confirmed that a one-night tournament along with several title defenses, and a six-man tag team match is now scheduled to take place over the course of two back-to-back shows in the UK.

As noted, WWE UK Champion Pete Dunne is slated to undergo a hectic two-night schedule in the UK as he gets set to defend his title belt against the winner of the WWE UK Championship tournament on night two. However, on the first night of the event, Pete Dunne will officially reform the British Strong Style faction along with Tyler Bate and Trent Seven—for the first time in WWE (after the duo reunited during WrestleMania 34 Axxess).

Upon their official WWE debut, The British Strong Style’s first match in the WWE will be against the trio of the first ever NXT North American Champion and the current NXT Tag Team Champions, Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, and Roderick Strong—collectively billed as The Undisputed Era.

The WWE UK Championship tournament will take place on June 18-19 at the Royal Albert Hall in Kensington, London.

The six-man tag match between The British Strong Style and The Undisputed Era will definitely be one of the best matches of the year and promises to be a mouthwatering clash.
