WWE News: Bubba Dudley reacts to The Bar's 3-D
What's the story?
Sheamus and Cesaro a.k.a 'The Bar' used a 3-D, which is a Dudley Boyz finisher, on last night's RAW. The former tag champs performed this move during their Triple Threat non-title win over The Club and RAW Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose.
Their move caught the attention of Bubba Ray Dudley, who expressed his views regarding the move on Twitter.
In case you didn't know...
The former Raw Tag Team Champions have been working on the 3-D, which is a Dudley Boyz speciality. D-Von recently praised one execution of this move on Jeff Hardy during their recent Australia tour.
The heart of the matter
Sheamus and Cesaro used the move on last night's RAW during their Triple Threat win over Gallows & Anderson and RAW Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose.
Bubba Ray Dudley tweeted the following reaction to The Bar's execution of the 3-D:
Bubba Ray shared a GIF of him and D-Von hitting a 3-D on Christian through a table and also added the words, "When done correctly."
Although D-Von didn't have an issue with Sheamus and Cesaro using the move, it was interesting to see different reactions from The Dudleys, and it’s understandable that Bubba Ray isn’t all that supportive of other people using the move.
What's next?
Sheamus and Cesaro are the No. 1 contenders for the Raw Tag Team championship. They decided to use their rematch clause for the No Mercy pay-per-view and will try to win the Tag titles back.
Meanwhile, Bubba Ray is working for Ring of Honor, and D-Von is enjoying his job working as an agent backstage for WWE.
Author's take
In the near future, The Bar could use the move as their own, but for the moment it seems like this was more of a homage rather than something they would do on a regular basis.
Both Sheamus and Cesaro are talented in-ring workers, so it would seem strange if they include 3-D in their arsenal.
